Dear Proshop Proshop, Welcome to the July 21' edition of Mollymook Golf Club e-News. We are currently working our way through another difficult period of uncertainty due to Covid but on the bright side we live in a great area and are doing better than most at the moment. This current school holiday period has been thrown into disarray with travel restrictions and lock downs however golf continues to remain the most popular choice of exercise. Due to current restrictions, we've had to postpone the Titleist Fitting Day that was scheduled for tomorrow and this has been rebooked for Friday 6th August (8.00am - 1.00pm) with bookings compulsory through Jono at Hilltop. We have also postponed the Mollymook Junior Open scheduled for this Sunday 4th July, this event usually attracts Juniors from all over Sydney who are currently in lockdown and unable to travel. We will advise when we secure a new date that fits in with the Golf NSW Junior schedule. We will continue to update members on any major government changes that will affect our club. If you haven't played yet this week (since Sunday 27th June), face masks must be worn when entering the golf shop and inside clubhouse areas at all times (including staff) and we have reverted back to 1 per 4 square metres so clubhouse capacity numbers have been reduced back to just 64 inside at Hilltop and 340 at Beachside. Drinking while standing has also been prohibited again so you must be seated while drinking in the clubhouses. Unfortunately, if all the seats are taken, you will not be served and asked politely to leave. Once again, please keep in mind that our staff do not make these rules however they do have to enforce them as part of their job. |
