Dear Proshop Proshop, Welcome to the August 24' edition of Mollymook Golf Club e-News. Another very wet start to last month with over 120mm in the first 4 days causing all sorts of issues. Unfortunately we had a huge Veterans Women's event on during this time which was reduced to a one day tournament. The course was closed for 3 days due to heavy rain with another 8 days of "no carts" last month which had a huge impact on golf bookings. "Touch Wood" as we've had 15 dry days in a row now. Now the complaints are its too cold or too windy but its better than rain! Good luck to everyone playing in the club's premier amateur event, the Mollymook Open on the 10th & 11th August. We've had over 200 entries and the field has now been reduced to 180 players via a handicap ballot. |
